Tvarové kompozice I, II, III

Triptych světelných objektů vychází ze studie geometrické abstrakce prostoru a podává komentář k otázce o jeho možné (ne)konečnosti. Předlohou se stala počítačová simulace, která ohledává nekonečné možnosti tvarových kompozicí objektů v prostoru vůči sobě. Triptych představuje tři možné tvarové kompozice z nekonečné řady dalších.

Form compositions I, II, III

The triptych of light objects is based on a study of the geometric abstraction of space and comments on the question of its possible (in)finity. The model became a computer simulation, which examines the infinite possibilities of shape compositions of objects in space in relation to each other. The triptych represents three possible shape compositions from an endless series of others.

Za závojem nočních rave-parties putuje také umělec jménem Jan Poš. Poutník zemí virtuálních i reálných, který se inspiruje větrnými tanci korun stromů i tajemstvím kosmických těles, nepostižitelných lidským dotykem. Při jeho cestách královstvími času a prostoru se kyber spolu s materiálním stává nerozlišitelným, vytvářejíc tak jedinečný meziprostor, ve kterém tanečník obdivně vstupuje do uměleckého díla. Poš, zaškolován od panství FUD UJEP, AVU až po země Kunstuniversität v Linzi, se pohybuje na nejisté půdě konstantních otázek vůči své vlastní tvorbě. Bez odkazů na aktuální společenská témata, nachází ve fyzikálních jevech a hyperrealitě inspiraci, kterou přetváří do digitálních simulací a virtuálních modelů.

Vystavené práce navazují na jeho dosavadní zkoumání hranic kyber a reálného prostoru. Dříve přistupoval k problematice analyticky, v poslední době se rozhodl pro využití mýtů k pochopení komplexních, racionálně nepopsatelných systémů 
a zkoumá rozhraní mezi technickou
a lidskou imaginací.

Vás zve připojit se k jeho putování, kde možná, tak jako on, narazíte na otázku: Co vlastně je konečným dílem? A v tomto mezisvětě, ve kterém opouštíme klasický analytický model, možná najdeme vlastní odpovědi, nebo ještě lépe - nové otázky, nové cesty.

Behind the veil of nightly rave-parties also wanders an artist named Jan Poš. A wanderer of virtual and real lands, who is inspired by the wind dances of treetops and the mystery of cosmic bodies, inaccessible to human touch. In his journeys through the realms of time and space, the cyber and the material become indistinguishable, creating a unique interspace in which the dancer enters admiringly into the work of art. Trained from the estate of FUD UJEP, AVU to the land of Kunstuniversität Linz, Poš moves on the uncertain ground of constant questions towards his own work and without reference to current social issues, finds inspiration in physical phenomena and hyperreality, which he transforms into digital simulations and virtual models.

The works on display build on his previous exploration of the boundaries of cyber and real space. Previously taking an analytical approach, he has recently chosen to use myths to understand complex, rationally indescribable systems, exploring the interface between technical and human imagination.

He invites you to join his journey where, perhaps like him, you will encounter the question: What, exactly, is the ultimate work? And in this in-between world, in which we abandon the classical analytical model, we may find our own answers, or better yet, new questions, new paths.

Co byla tvoje oblíbená či nezapomenutelná akce?

„Největší zážitek mám asi z minulého roku, když jsme dělali Komiks v bývalém bazénu na Barrandově. Akce probíhala docela hladce do té doby, než nedošla nafta v agregátu … fuc*up. Naštěstí celou akci a taky světla zachránili dobrovolní hasiči, co zrovna měli malej agregát s sebou v autě, takže se mohlo jet dál.“

 

What was your favorite or unforgettable event?

“My greatest experience was probably last year, when we made Komiks in the former swimming pool in Barrandov. The event was going quite smoothly until the engine ran out of gasoline... fuc*up. Fortunately, the whole event and the lights were saved by the volunteer firemen, who just happened to have a small one generator in the car, so it was possible to drive on.”
